Please post what your dual specs are if you have purchased the ability so that it will help me decide when setting up group composition.

Duro will probably be a Tank/DPS allthough I am considering a Tank/Tank dual spec.
Groober will be a shadow/holy
downside is I have 0 DPS gear for Duro and barely any heal gear for Groober.
EDIT:
Its official, Duro is Frost Tank/Blood DPS, his DPS gear is coming along and I can compete now just need tons of badges for my belt/BP/gloves. Also could use a few items out of nax.
Groober is Shadow Primary/Disc Healing secondary, a use a lot of the same gear from shadow as healing but really wish I could swap out the gems/enchants, I am pretty sure I dont need 150 hit as a healing priest.

I have a DPS shaman, a resto druid, a prot pally, and a priest that went back to holy because I wasn't feeling any shadow love.
The total gold on all my characters currently is only slightly more than 1000 and my pally still needs his epic flying mount.
I do not plan on spending any gold on dual specs in the foreseeable future.

Well, I paid for the dual spec... that's as far as I've gotten. Jury is still out for me on which spec to settle on. For me though, it really depends on the needs of the Guild; I'm willing to go either way (hmm.. guess that makes me a bi-pally, lol). Anyway, from a gear perspective: My Ret set is pimped out purple, gemmed, chanted and ready to rock. Prot set could use some upgrades, most notably pants, and needs gems/chants, but even so, I am close to def cap (at 509 last I checked), so nbd on the gear front. Skill-wise: I'm pretty confident I could step into a Raid and do acceptable DPS as Ret. I was Ret for 70 levels in BC, and did a little Northrend levelling as well swinging the 2-hander. I'm familiar with the standard Ret rotations from a 3.0 perspective and would just have to get up to speed with the 3.1 changes. Prot is a different story entirely. I spec'd Prot once, for about a week, during BC for a few "Baron runs". I've NEVER tanked an instance in my life, so if I go Prot, there is definitely going to be a steep learning curve for me, and a little patience required from whoever happens to be brave enough to run with me:) TL:DR - Tell me what spec you need from me and I'll make it happen L

Go with what's fun! It seems like you enjoyed ret, so go resto/ret. Another reason for this is the fact that no 10 raids need more than 2 tanks, and some areas can be done with 2 healers or even just one tank. We know we can 2-heal trash in Naxx, and considering that it's just a button click while out of combat, it could be a fun thing to try, and offer more options in terms of getting achievements for speed runs. The run up to Heigan and including that boss fight can be done with 2 healers (and quite possibly 1 healer). Imagine how much faster it would be to get to a boss and down him when a 3rd healer isn't necessary. And as for thinking about tanking... I'll be back soon, maybe as soon as tomorrow.... I'm planning on going feral tank, and probably boomkin. We have so many casters that the moonkin aura would help out raid dps, where as kitty buff doesn't help too many at the moment, although depending on what kind of gear I pick up, I could swap boomkin out for kitty in the future. Of course as in the past I've had to heal at times, at which point I'd likely just end up respeccing my 2nd spec....

Thanks Flauris, I appreciate your insight. I think I missed making the point that I'd be perfectly happy being either spec. I've been a long-time pally way back to the D&D days and I love the class in all of its forms. It's gonna be fun for me whether I'm smashing faces, staring at boss crotches, or saving your lives, because I'm a Paladin. I enjoy playing the class, not just a spec.
I was just offering myself up to the RLs as a resource to use my dual-spec choice in whatever role that would be needed most.

Not sure if I really need to post here because no matter what I spec in, it's dps. But I will anyway, main spec is a fire/frost thingy, and secondary is full arcane, mostly for pvp and it's great for soloing

Okay so Moonsinola (not sure why I felt the need to spell the whole thing out or even say the name seeing as it's my only charecter above 40) is Balance main, Restoration secondary. I don't have A ton of gear for Resto, but I have something coming

I finally got around to setting Kayem up for dual spec, and am now officially a Ret/Prot Pally. If anyone wants to run any regular/heroic 5-peep dungeons, I'd love the chance to get some tanking practice. I haven't been Prot since level 60 (pre-WotLK)... a few more buttons to push these days!

Kis is Afflic/bullshit Demo spec at the moment.
Demidice is Arms/Prot - yes, she will have a tank build at lvl 80.
Anput will be Feral DPS /Resto until 80, at which point... who the hell knows. Resto'll be around, has very little for gear at the moment.
I will try and move this thread around into something more updated for at the very least some guildy 5-mans. Or not. Naw, screw it, it's fine here. Might make a notepad or something for somewhere.
